Pattaya Food: What to expect
Aug 18 , 2011
While Thai food may be your first choice while you're vacationing in Pattaya, why limit yourself to just one type of dining? Pattaya food includes a variety of cuisine in addition to fabulous Thai food, including Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and French.
Thai Food
Thai food is naturally first on our list of Pattaya food. After all, you shouldn't come to a beautiful city in Thailand without regularly indulging in great Thai food. Consider checking out Moom Talay or, if you enjoy live musical performances, Green Tree. For a tranquil, traditional Thai dining experience, head to PIC Kitchen, where you can eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner in a Thai pavilion.
Chinese and Japanese
If you're in the mood for Pattaya food that's Chinese or Japanese, there are several options. Chinese is one of many cuisines offered at Mantra, a trendy restaurant on Beach Road. For Japanese cuisine, you may want to try Samurai Sushi, Benihana Japanese Steakhouse, or Yamato.
Italian and French
You might not think of pasta and pizza when you think of Pattaya food, but the city actually has several Italian restaurants. If you've spent the day at Jomtien Beach, consider dining at the nearby Gian's Ristorante Italiano, which has over ten types of pizza. Want to venture out of Italian cuisine and into French cuisine? Pattaya's got you covered with restaurants like Au Bon Coin and La Baguette, a bakery that features sandwiches, salads, and crepes in addition to pastries.
